Founded in the mid 50s, the Alcantara Group (AG) was borne out of the vision of the late pioneering entrepreneur Conrado C. Alcantara to tap Mindanao's vast and undeveloped resources. Since then, AG has become one of the largest and most diversified Filipino-owned conglomerates in the country.

AG's principal manufacturing base is in Mindanao while its headquarters is located in the country's premier business district, Makati.
